Story Case study
Overview
Ink Removal is a national directory that makes tattoo removal research simple, transparent and trustworthy. This tattoo removal directory website helps people find clinics near them, compare real pricing, read reviews and get a free cost estimate before they book a consultation. I designed and built it in Framer, with search visibility built into the structure from the start.
The challenge
Tattoo removal is a long, expensive journey, and information online is scattered and vague. People want to know what it will cost, how many sessions it will take and which local clinics they can trust. A directory only works if it ranks for those local searches and then gives visitors genuinely useful tools once they land. Ink Removal needed both: a structure search engines understand and an experience that earns trust.
What I built
- A clear hero, "Find Tattoo Removal Clinics Near You", with "Find Clinics Near Me" and "Free Pricing Estimate" actions
- A cost and session calculator based on tattoo size, ink colour, skin tone and more
- Search by state, plus dedicated city pages for popular locations such as New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Houston and Las Vegas
- Clinic spotlights and an Insights blog answering real questions people ask before booking
- Before-and-after results and a "share your experience" prompt for past patients
- Routes into the community forum and progress-tracking app, plus "List Your Clinic" and "Claim My Business" paths for providers
Design & build
The direction is clean, direct and reassuring: a monochrome palette, confident type and simple cards that keep a lot of information easy to scan. I treated SEO as part of the design, with location pages that follow a consistent template, descriptive titles and internal links between states, cities, clinics and articles. The multipage website is built in Framer, with templated pages so new clinics, cities and articles slot into the same structure.
What it delivers
Ink Removal now has a directory that serves both sides of the market. Patients get transparent pricing guidance, local clinic options and honest community insight in one place, while clinics get a clear route to list and manage their profile. The repeatable page structure gives the site room to grow into more locations and topics, steadily widening its local search footprint.
